A NON-REFUNDABLE deposit of ________ was placed on __/__/____
deposit is non-refundable unless we are unable to provide you with a puppy or the health check is unacceptable. In either case buyer is able to transfer deposit to another puppy or the deposit will be refunded.
The balance of _________ will be paid by cash or money order by the time the puppy is 8 weeks old. If buyer can not pick up said puppy by the age of 9 weeks, deposit will be kept and puppy will be for sale again.
The follow conditions and guarantees apply to this sale:

1. Breeder agrees the said puppy/dog be givien to buyer with a record of medical history. Breeder also guarantees puppy/dog to be healthy at the time of sale to the best of sellers knowledge. Care has been taken to ensure that puppy/dog is in good health. procedures are taken to prevent or eliminate parasites such as worms, fleas, ear mites, coccidiosis, etc. These are common conditions in dogs and we do not guarantee against them. No guarantee is given against Hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). This is a common condition in toy breeds and is not genetically related.
2. Breeder guarantees said puppy/dog for 72 hours for contagious disease and 6 months for life threatening congenital, hereditary, or genetic defects from your date of purchase. This does not include hypoglycemia. If there is anything wrong with said puppy/dog (life threatening) buyer must notify breeder within 24 hours and the puppy/dog needs to be taken to a licensed veterinarian, if it hasn't be done so already. Buyer will have the right to exchange said puppy/dog for another one of equal value of buyer's choice when a puppy/dog becomes available, provided a letter from the examining veterinarian is offered as evidence of the puppy/dog's life threatening illness and the puppy/dog is returned within the guarantee period. In case of death during the guarentee period an autopsy with 24 hours of death will be required at the buyers expense before puppy/dog is replaced.
3. Buyer must have said puppy/dog examined by a veterinarian of buyer's choice within 72 hours of purchasing said puppy/dog at buyer's expense in order for the guarantee to be honored. If any contagious disease or unsoundness is found, buyer may return said puppy/dog, registration papers, and a report from a licensed veterinarian to us at cost to the buyer. Buyer will be responsible for all shipping costs to return said puppy/dog to us and for the new puppy/dog to be shipped to buyer that will be the responsibility of the buyer. This does not include coccidia, giardia or hypoglycemia.
4. This puppy/dog is not sold with the guarantee of being show quality or of having perfect confirmation or with the guarantee of being breedable at the age of maturity. As a breeder, I have to the best of my ability, attempted to breed a quality representation of the breed.
5. Breeder assumes no responsibility for veterinary or any other expenses incurred once said puppy/dog leaves breeder's premises.
6. Breeder reserves the right to cancel this contract, in which case the deposit will be refunded in full.
If by some reason, legal action were to be taken against Poms and Shires, it must be taken up in the state of Pennsylvania at my district court house. Thank you.
